Terms of Service
By using this website and booking services with Holistic Healing with Charisse Joy, you agree to the following terms:
1. Nature of Services
All services provided are professional treatments intended to support relaxation and promote wellbeing. Any inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session and full payment will still be required.
2. Health Information & Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete health information. You agree to update us on any changes in your health and wellbeing before your session. Reiki treatments are complementary, not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. If you have a specific medical or psychological concern, consult with your certified healthcare provider.
3. Consent to Treatment
By proceeding with services, you consent to techniques that may involve physical touch. All treatments are provided with professional boundaries and respect. You may request adjustments or stop the session at any time.
4. Scope of Practice
Charisse Joy is certified to provide Reiki treatments, meditation lessons and life coaching within the scope of practice defined by local laws. We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medications or provide psychiatric therapy.
5. Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments, and 7 days notice is required to cancel or reschedule a class or workshop.
- Appointments: No-shows and late cancellations (less than 48 hours) will not be refunded.
- Classes & Workshops: No-shows and late cancellations (less than 7 days) will not be refunded.
Exceptions may be made in cases of emergency or illness at our discretion. To cancel or reschedule your appointment please email hello.charissejoy@gmail.com
6. Confidentiality
All personal and health information is kept strictly confidential in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ) or applicable local law. Your information will never be shared without your written consent unless required by law.
7. Minors
Clients under 16 years old must have a parent or legal guardian present for the session and must provide written consent.
8. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at any time if a client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, behaves inappropriately, or poses a risk to the therapist or themselves.
9. Liability Disclaimer
By receiving services you agree to release Holistic Healing with Charisse Joy from any liability for injuries or conditions that may arise as a result of the session.
